    Course Objectives

    1. Understand the theoretical underpinnings and historical context of mindfulness in psychotherapy.
    2. Identify the psychological and physiological benefits of mindfulness practices for clients.
    3. Develop proficiency in various mindfulness techniques such as mindful breathing, body scan, and mindful listening.
    4. Adapt mindfulness practices to meet the needs of diverse populations, including older adults and individuals with physical or cognitive limitations.
