    Course Objectives

    1. Understand the core characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including sensory sensitivities, communication challenges, and social interaction difficulties, across different age groups and severity levels.
    2. Identify therapeutic approaches such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social skills training, that address the specific needs of individuals with ASD.
    3. Develop proficiency in adapting therapeutic interventions to address the individual cognitive, emotional, and sensory processing needs of clients with ASD.
    4. Tailor interventions to diverse populations with ASD, ensuring strategies are appropriate for children, adolescents, and adults with varying levels of communication and sensory integration challenges.
